Visa Requirements

If you hold a Saudi passport, you do not need a visa to enter the United Arab Emirates.

Note: Visa requirements are determined by your nationality and the reason for your visit. Exceptions may arise based on the length of stay, specific conditions, or travel purpose.

30 days visa (extendable) on arrival

Citizens of the following countries can obtain an extendable visa upon arrival for 30 days: Andorra, Australia, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Vatican City, Hong Kong, Ireland, Japan, Malaysia, Monaco, Russia, San Marino, Seychelles, Singapore, Ukraine, Mauritius, China, Kazakhstan, New Zealand, United Kingdom, and the United States.

90 days visa (extendable) on arrival

Citizens of the following countries can obtain an extendable visa upon arrival for 90 days: South Korea, Argentina, Bahamas, Solomon Islands, and Nauru.

90 days visa (non-extendable) on arrival

Citizens of the following countries can obtain a non-extendable visa upon arrival for 90 days: Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Switzerland, Finland, Poland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Liechtenstein, and Czech Republic.

Transit visa

UAE Transit visas are either for 48 hours or 96 hours. 48 hours Transit visa is issued free of charge. UAE based-airlines can arrange a transit visa before your journey.

UAE work permit

The sponsoring UAE employer needs to apply to MoHRE (Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation) for the work permit. MoHRE issues work permits. The employer will send the work permit to the employee. The work permit holder can enter the UAE for employment, but that work permit is valid for two months only. Within the scope of 60 days employee and employer have to arrange to get the employee's UAE Resident Identity (Emirates ID) Card, and Labour Card and stamping the UAE Residence visa. Tourist Visa and Visit Visa

A tourist visa allows individuals to visit the UAE for tourism purposes. It is usually valid for a short duration, such as 30 days, and can be extended for an additional fee.
Visit visas are available for family visits or longer stays in the UAE. They are typically valid for 90 days and can be extended for an additional 90 days.

Employment Visa

This visa is required for individuals who have obtained a job offer and will be working in the UAE. The employer typically sponsors the visa application.
